• 일기 쓰기 팁!: 일기는 간단하게 - 에세이가 아닙니다. 시제(tense)를 알맞게 써주세요! 일기는 주로 과거에 일어난 일을 쓰는 것이기 때문에 과거 시제로! 하지만 상황에 따라 다양한 시제를 사용할 수도 있습니다.

• 주의할 점!: 삼인칭 (he, she, it, 등등) 주어를 쓸 때 동사 원형에 s 붙이는 것을 주의 합니다. 항상은 아니지만 대부분 명사 앞에 관사 (article)이 붙습니다. 어떠한 관사를 쓸 것인지 항상 고민하면서 써보세요.

I woke up at 6am. I went to work by subway. I arrived at my office at 7:30am. I practiced reading my textbook out loud. Around 8:20 am, my colleagues came to the office. So I stopped reading the textbook. In the morning, I usually drink Tea. So I drank Tea while I worked.

I was not hungry so I skipped lunch. Instead of lunch, I had blueberry juice.

In the afternoon, I worked hard as usual. I got off work at 5 pm. I went to Talk-Talk by subway. I took English class for an hour. Before the class, Shawn and I had a chat. Shawn gave me courage and hope. I am still hasty. I learned about chapter 3. I was stuttering. So I was very embarrassed. I came back home. I felt depressed and tired.

2. 'About 8:20 am' -> 'Around 8:20 am'

5. 'I took English class an hour.' -> 'I took English class for an hour.'

직원들이 출근을 했다. 그래서 영어공부(책읽기)를 그만두었다 입니다 로

바꾸긴 했는데, 문법적으로 뭐가 틀렸는지 모르겠어요. 설명 부탁합니다.

'Shawn and I chatted.' -> 'Shawn and I had a chat.'

제가 쓴 문장이 문법적으로 틀린건지 아님 일반적으로 had a chat 으로 쓰는건지요?

I was pretty stuttering' -> 'I was stuttering.'

Pretty 부사를 형용사 stuttering 앞에 쓰면 안되는건가요?

1. 'So I stopped to read the textbook.' -> 'So I stopped reading the textbook.' 우리 day 4때 infinitive랑 gerund 배웠죠? 과거에 일어났거나 현재 하고 일어나고 있는것을 나타낼때는 gerund를 사용한다고 배웠습니다. stop은 현재 무언가 하고 있는것을 중단하는 것이기 때문에 gerund를 사용합니다.

2. 'Shawn and I had a chat.' 이 표현이 좀더 자연습럽습니다.

3. 'I was stuttering.' -> pretty가 부사로써의 의미가 존재하지만 어색합니다.
