• 일기 쓰기 팁!: 일기는 간단하게 - 에세이가 아닙니다. 시제(tense)를 알맞게 써주세요! 일기는 주로 과거에 일어난 일을 쓰는 것이기 때문에 과거 시제로! 하지만 상황에 따라 다양한 시제를 사용할 수도 있습니다.

• 주의할 점!: 삼인칭 (he, she, it, 등등) 주어를 쓸 때 동사 원형에 s 붙이는 것을 주의 합니다. 항상은 아니지만 대부분 명사 앞에 관사 (article)이 붙습니다. 어떠한 관사를 쓸 것인지 항상 고민하면서 써보세요.

I woke up late. Because I didn't hear the alarm. But it was fine, because I got off work late yesterday And I can go to work whenever I want to. That is my prerogative.

Anyway I packed my lunch. And I went to work by subway.

When I arrived work, one staff was not there. He texted me and said he woke up late. An hour later, he came to work. I told him, 'Don't be late'. He didn't have lunch. I told him to eat lunch.

We kept working and we talked about next week's presentation. And we had a sandwich for dinner. And I got off work at 11:30PM. I have to go to work tomorrow.

1. 'But I was fine because I got off work late.' -> 'But it was fine, because I got off work late yesterday.'

2. 'And I go to work when I want time.' -> 'And I can go to work whenever I want to.' (안배운 표현이지만 마땅히 표현할 방법이 없어서 사용했습니다.^^)

3. 'That is my prerogative.' -> Cross it out

4. 'When I went to work, one staff didn't come to work. He texted me to woke up late.' -> 'When I arrived work, one staff was not there. He texted me and said he woke up late.'

5. 'he came to office.' -> 'he came to work.'

6. 'So I scolded him and I told him not to go to work late.' -> 'I told him, 'Don't be late'.

7. 'He didn't had lunch.' -> 'He didn't have lunch.'

8. 'the Presentation next week.' -> 'next week's presentation.'
