sleep on 이 phrasal verb이죠? 왜냐하면 sleep 과 sleep on의 뜻이 다르기 때문이에요. 근데 phrasal verb들 중에서도 separable이 있고 inseparable이 있어요. 목적어를 중간에 넣을수 있냐 없냐에 차이에요. 예를 들어 pick up 이란 구동사(phrasal verb)는 separable이어서 'pick up the girl' 이나 'pick the girl up' 이라고 할 수 있어요. 반면에 'sleep on'은 'sleep on it' 만 가능하고 'sleep it on' 은 불가능 합니다.

'So I have been quite all afternoon.' -> 'So I stayed quite throughout the afternoon.' 현재완료는 그 상태나 액션이 현재까지 전달되야되는데 일기를 쓰는 시점까지 Ruby가 조용했던게 아니기 때문에 현재완료는 여기에 맞지 않습니다.

일기 쓰기 팁!: 일기는 간단하게 - 에세이가 아닙니다. 시제(tense)를 알맞게 써주세요! 일기는 주로 과거에 일어난 일을 쓰는 것이기 때문에 과거 시제로! 하지만 상황에 따라 다양한 시제를 사용할 수도 있습니다.
주의할 점!: 삼인칭 (he, she, it, 등등) 주어를 쓸 때 동사 원형에 s 붙이는 것을 주의 합니다. 항상은 아니지만 대부분 명사 앞에 관사 (article)이 붙습니다. 어떠한 관사를 쓸 것인지 항상 고민하면서 써보세요.
It was not so hot, today.
I walked to the subway station to go to work early in the morning.
As soon as I got to my office, I scanned my level 2A textbook. Sometimes I read scanned textbook at my seat during my break time. This morning, I got a report about Daegu real estate market from my colleague. I was worried about our business. The meeting went for a half hour.
Around 11:30 am, I talked on the phone with Shawn. I asked some questions to him. He honestly answered them all.
At lunch time, all of my colleagues had delivery food. We have been eating delivery food for a month. I checked my diary over the meal as usual. My diaries had many wrong sentences. I slept on those for a while and then I corrected my diary.
This afternoon, I was busy working. So I stayed quite throughout the afternoon. I calculated tax. I have not finished. I have been working as a CFO for 5 years. But it is still hard. At quitting time, I wondered whether I should go home. Because I still had a lot of things to do. But I decided to go home.
Now, I am at home. I am done with my diary homework. I have been writing diary for 5 months. I am going to preview my level 2A textbook and practice reading my level 2 textbook.
