• 일기 쓰기 팁!: 일기는 간단하게 - 에세이가 아닙니다. 시제(tense)를 알맞게 써주세요! 일기는 주로 과거에 일어난 일을 쓰는 것이기 때문에 과거 시제로! 하지만 상황에 따라 다양한 시제를 사용할 수도 있습니다.

• 주의할 점!: 삼인칭 (he, she, it, 등등) 주어를 쓸 때 동사 원형에 s 붙이는 것을 주의 합니다. 항상은 아니지만 대부분 명사 앞에 관사 (article)이 붙습니다. 어떠한 관사를 쓸 것인지 항상 고민하면서 써보세요.

It was not so hot, today. So it felt good.

I went to work as usual. Around 9 am, I got a text message from my boss. He said "Ruby, let's grab some coffee. I am coming to the office in few minutes. He came to work and we went to Objective cafe. We have been there several times. We had hot-latte and we had a chat for about an hour. ( lengthy 하지 않게, 주어 동사 생략 좀 알려주세요) I have been trying to avoid drinking coffee lately. Because I have hard time falling asleep. But I had coffee with my boss. So I was worried.'

At lunch time, delivery food was delayed so I checked my diary at my seat. Shawn left comments in detail. So I read his comments and corrected my diary based on his comments. I am always grateful for him. And I have things to tell him but I haven't told him yet. And Shawn has been teaching me English for 5 months. I am planning to read some articles on Medium. Because I would like to speak English well. After a while, all of my colleagues had delivery food at our office.

This afternoon, I was busy working like yesterday. I reviewed many documents and I took note of some important points. Now, I am at my office. I am wondering whether I should go home or not. And I have finished my diary homework.

2. 'He said me “ Ruby ! Let's grab some coffee after a little”.' -> 'He said "Ruby, let's grab some coffee. I am coming to the office in few minutes."'.

3. 'we had a chat about an hour.' -> we had a chat for about an hour.'

4. 'I am worried that I can't fall asleep tonight. I don't drink coffee nowadays because I don't sleep well.' 의미가 잘 전달되려면 문장의 순서가 중요해요. 그리고 부연설명도 잘 하셔야 합니다. 'I have been trying to avoid drinking coffee lately. Because I have hard time falling asleep. But I had coffee with my boss. So I was worried.'

5. 'delivery food was arrived late' -> 'the delivery food was delayed'

6. 'I am always grateful him.' -> 'I am always grateful for him.'

7. 'teaching English to me' -> 'teaching me English'

8. 'I am thinking over to use Medium App to study English before long.' -> 'I am planning to read some articles on Medium.'

9. 'I made notes of important points.' -> 'I took note of some important points.'
