It was not so hot, today. I went to work early in the morning just as usual

At 9 am, I got a text message from my boss. He said “ Ruby, let`s grab some coffee with two other senior staffs. I am coming to the office in few minutes.” So we went to a cafe and we talked about our new project. The meeting went for an hour and half. At lunch time, all of my colleagues had delivery food at our office. During lunch, I checked my diary's comments. After I read Shawn's comments, I thought for a while again. I felt bad for making too many mistakes. Therefore I am planning to write my diary more accurately.

After lunch, I checked some documents and my junior staff corrected these documents. Then he submitted the documents to KRX. Now, we are finally done with this work.

I got off work at my usual time. I went to Talk-Talk by subway. I took the class for 2 hours. Shawn looked little tried but his voice was energetic. I learned about relative clause today. It was little difficult. So I am going to review that tomorrow.

After the class, I walked home. On the way home, it was raining. So I put up an umbrella.

Now I am at home. Well I am going to bed now.

Good night.

Good!

  1. 'I went to work just as usual early in the morning.' -> 'I went to work early in the morning just as usual.' Just as usual modifies the whole sentence. Therefore, it should be placed at the end of the sentence.

  2. 'He told me “ Ruby! Let`s grab some coffee with two seniors.' -> 'He said "Ruby, let's grab some coffee with two other senior staffs.'

  3. 'Because I was very sorry for him.' -> Being sorry for someone means something different from what you meant. It actually means to empathize with someone. So you might want to say 'I felt bad for making too many mistakes.' Here is the reference for the explanation.

  4. 'Therefor' -> 'Therefore'

  5. 'diary accurately' -> 'my diary more accurately'

  6. 'So we have finished our work. Then he submitted these documents to KRX.' -> 'Then he submitted the documents to KRX. Now, we are finally done with this work.'

  7. 'Shawn looks little tried but his voice was cheerful.' -> 'Shawn looked little tired but his voice was energetic.'

  8. 'I learned about relative clause. It was difficult for me. So I am going to study that tomorrow.' -> 'I learned about relative clause today. It was little difficult. So I am going to review that tomorrow.'

    -> After I read this explanation, I am very surprised. Thank you Shawn.
