Add QoL custom recipes to clear meta data off certain items #747

Describe your suggestion

Suggestion is to add standard crafting grid recipes that take configured AE2 Pattern or Starbuncle charm and return Blank Pattern or new Starbuncle Charm. Hopefully this would be a small change but would also be a welcome QoL feature.

I'm sure there may be other similar items, but these are the ones I'm aware of.

Why would you like this added/changed?

I've noticed there is no way to conveniently reset AE2 patterns or Starbuncle Charms so that they stack neatly with other items. Starbuncle charms, even when task-cleared before dispelling, will still not stack with freshly crafted charms. While AE2 patterns can be re-used in the terminal to override the patterned recipe but it's a bit of a hassle to do so, especially if one changes many patterns at once; more often I will just toss the patterns rather than reuse them.

Just found out you can't overwrite an AE2 pattern once it has been set.

You can? Shift+right click with it in hand, or put it in the output of a pattern terminal + set a new recipe.

I don't know how I didn't catch that.

That's great for patterns, I'd still like to recommend a recipe for Starby Charms though.

my concern with the charms is that they'd also lose any special nbt on them that Ars Nouveau supporters can get and that would feel pretty bad, I'd think.

I believe ars has added a recipe to clear the Patreon shards in the last month or so... So idk if it would be that bad to have the same for charms...

Alright, after looking at this, I still think it'd be best for Ars to implement it: https://discord.com/channels/743298050222587978/1167943711867543552

If I just make a recipe with KubeJS, it's also going to delete any upgrades you've put on the starbie (shades, hats, etc). My attempts at getting KubeJS to return those have, so far, failed miserably. Modular Routers has a similar feature, however, which I think Ars could probably implement with more ease than us.
