Modpack Version

1.18

Describe your issue.

Been having a lot of "Ticking block entity" crashes on the latest version: First it was the Ars Nouveau Splitter Relay, when crafting on the enchanting apparatus - restored a backup - break and replaced the Splitter. All good Second was a dim pulsating crystal when it powered a pneumatic compressor

.. The Source Jar that the crystal was taking from seems to have caused a redstone update. And some thermal dynamics ducts seem to not handle Redstone at that point in time. You can probably move the jar and be fine?

Bucket777 commented 9 months ago

Amazing log reading skills! I moved the jar and everything seems to be in order again.

Does this look like an actual issue with thermal dynamics, darkere? I can try to reproduce this later. Just need to put a source jar near a thermal duct?

Darkere commented 9 months ago

I think so. Just a source jar next to a duct and something that draws some source.

MuteTiefling commented 9 months ago

@Bucket777 Do you think you could send along a screenshot of the area as it is now? Just Indicate where the source jar was. Having a little trouble figuring out how to set this up. Right now I've got a monstrosity like this to run pipes near an active source jar:

@MuteTiefling, here is the setup (took a better one):

I placed a source jar where the fence is and caused the crash again. It corrupts the jar because it disappears when I break it afterward. The jar was filled via splitter relay.

MuteTiefling commented 9 months ago

Ok great. I'll give that a try

MuteTiefling commented 9 months ago

Hrm. Can't seem to reproduce... image

I'll try again later in the twilight forest. Maybe a more involved setup is required.

Bucket777 commented 9 months ago

Must be some weird edge case, as it was working for a while initially.

Bucket777 commented 9 months ago

Did some playing around today, seems like the duct with a servo from a TPP is causing the issues.

MuteTiefling commented 9 months ago

Cool, thanks. I'll check that later

MuteTiefling commented 8 months ago

Putting this on the back burner for now. I've had another setup running with a TPP for the last hour and still no issues. image
