Dear @gevro,

We did not create the WiggleTools conda package (I believe it is derived from the WiggleTools Homebrew brewski recipe), so I cannot speak with much certainty about the conda package.

Nonetheless, I could not reproduce your error on a fresh install.

Have you successfully installed another package with conda? The conda issues page would suggest that this error message reflects a problem with your current conda installation.

I managed to install it into a new conda environment.

However, how do I determine what version of WiggleTools it is? Is there a wiggletools -version? or -v? It doesn't seem to be working, so there is no way for me to know for sure which version of WiggleTools it is.

That's true we never got round to implementing this.

However, you can already get that information from your package installer (in this case conda):

conda list wiggletools
