I've enabled the expansion node for variation tracks in peregrine-generic and peregrine-ensembl. Tested in peregrine-generic — if I remove the explicit call to enable this node from the html/javascript code, then the tracks don't show up without this line in the Rust; but do show up when this library is present.
I still don't have the slightest clue what the difference is between self.api.switch and self.api.radio_switch, and when to use which 🤷♂️
