After the death of the lava, the temperature does not return to the original value and the player to die again and again.

sorry for my English

Cauldron servers have had issues with this.. and we cant seem find what is causing it to happen..

I have just tested this on KCauldron-1.7.10-1517.168 and EnviroMine-1.3.124 and it seems ok.. THe player dies, and is respawned ho hot for a second and then it returns to normal temperature (might have been lag making it delay a second as I have worldborder filling generating chunks on the server at the moment).

However hydration remains what it was pre-death. I'll see what happens if I die from dehydration ;)

Yep, once you die of thirst you respawn and immediately start dying of dehydration again.

I have a workaround for this. Install the bukkit plugin VariableTriggers from http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/variabletriggers/ and have it run some envirostat commands when the player dies.

@enviromine-user @rob-bb @Bogdan-G Does the Patch GenDeath provided here: #148 solve the problem for you?

Bogdan-G commented 8 years ago

@PitchBright I use to fix the KC editing: https://gitlab.prok.pw/KCauldron/KCauldron/commit/1817b56ba3dc54f9c7d6e3250f1139576854d3b4

Rob-bb commented 8 years ago

Haven't tried it. I am using 1.7.10-1517.168 from https://gitlab.prok.pw/KCauldron/KCauldron and Enviromine 1.3.124 and a custom script with the https://skunity.com/Skript plugin to fix it when players die.

I had similar problem with my mod , the thing is that reset of stat don't work on Cauldron if it is binded to deathEvent, because Cauldron does some strange things here.

However setting the reset of stats to PlayerEvent.PlayerRespawnEvent fixed it even for Cauldron

solution 1.7.10 Thermos is a fork of KCauldron Releases · CyberdyneCC-Thermos · GitHub

@enviromine-user sorry, the problem for a long time fixed in the KCauldron xD https://gitlab.prok.pw/KCauldron/KCauldron/commit/1817b56ba3dc54f9c7d6e3250f1139576854d3b4 self-advertisement: in FFoKC also fork KCauldron and there too it is fixed xD
