Gregtech Ores and caveins don't mix #214

Open axlegear opened 8 years ago

axlegear commented 8 years ago

If a cave-in or any Enviromine physics moves a Gregtech ore of any kind (stone, gravel, sand, etc.) it causes an 'empty ore', which is a failsafe for a mod not copying the data. (I think it's NBT data?) Other mods usually work fine because they copy the entire contents of the block and not just the block ID number. IE, GT ore works fine in vanilla gravel and sand falling, and pistons. It's just Enviromine.

We do grab nbt data. If you look in the entityphysics block. I am on mobile so its not easy reading code. Something else is happening? Double check your configs are dropping nothing.

We havent had an update in quite some time. And I have not heard this error since it was fixed over a year ago.

Can confirm that GT6 ores can't be moved, furthermore, disabling the physics with a custom stability type only works on the hard ores, while the soft ores (gravel / sand / broken) (which have their own fall procedure aka vanilla sand/gravel) will continue to be broken by EnviroMine, in fact the only way to not break said types is to globally disable physics
