Will do. Do you have a working definition for that? Is there some sort of property that sets a puddle apart from other contained volumes of water?
I guess it's the temporary nature of the puddle that is important. I suppose it's usually filled by rain, but would not have to be: river flooding, irrigation...?
And it must be on the ground (a pool in a discarded car tyre is not a puddle, I reckon), but could be anthropogenic (human or cattle footprints, tyre tracks) or more generally from animal footprints.
Fits somewhere within here I guess: ENVO:00000549 Intermittent water body
thank you!
If puddle could be added that would be great! It is a breeding site for mosquitoes that we would take samples from.
Thank you
