NTRs: sustainability #817

NTR: sustainability Definition: Sustainability is the ability to exist constantly. Defined also as the process of people maintaining change in a balanced environment, in which the exploitation of resources, the direction of investments, the orientation of technological development and institutional change are all in harmony and enhance both current and future potential to meet human needs and aspirations. (Sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sustainability & https://www.globalfootprints.org/sustainability/)

Parent/child nodes: I'm not sure where this would sit. I couldn't find any sustainability terms across ontologies in OLS. However, I was, more specifically, hoping for a 'food systems sustainability' term, which could perhaps be a child node (though I noted there are also no 'food systems' terms, and this may be better placed under that, if it existed).

@TrisSN This would be more a class for https://github.com/SDG-InterfaceOntology/sdgio/

Can you use those IRIs too?

pbuttigieg commented 5 years ago

@TrisSN we'll add this to SDGIO - I'm assuming those IRIs will work for you. See the cross-linked issue.

TrisSN commented 5 years ago

Hi @pbuttigieg Thanks. We don't currently use SDGIO, but I've suggested it to our ontologies expert, so perhaps we will in future.

We'll prepare the IRI in the meantime
