Auto Hatchery fossil fix #378

Fix for the other update breakage I wasn't aware of. Fixes fossil mode, plus now prioritizes uncaught fossils. Also made some performance improvements.

Closes #373, closes #376.

It's all good! You definitely seem to have a better idea of what you're doing anyway haha

Hey, don't sell yourself short, our fixes were identical. I just get carried away: another change, and a small optimization, and oh I bet I could improve that other section...
