Please take a look at this PubMed search

Thank you!

Sam, should I expand the search to include syphilis as well?

kweiss2 commented 8 years ago

Additionally, are you open to compartmental models?

smjenness commented 8 years ago

Fine to include syphilis although clearly categorize the papers with a "diseases modeled" column in the parameters spreadsheet.

And yes, please include all model types.

I'm casting a wider net and including a few demonstration and review articles as well just for completeness (leaving out ocular chlamydia). After you take a look, I will add the references and PDFs I have collected to the spreadsheet.

I've collected all of the references in a spreadsheet, which I will combine with the Dropbox one. Just to clarify, in the Dropbox spreadsheet you reference, the columns are listed as issues (Transmissibility of HIV, dx/tx for asymptomatic inf, cessation of activity, and Clearance for unTx symptomatic) rather than as parameters. Do you want me to put checkmarks if the papers covered those issues, or are you looking for parameter values from those papers?

The only related parameters I'm seeing in the majority of the papers while looking through them are per-act transmission probability of HIV or STIs. Very few touch on asymptomatic parameters or untreated clearance. When you say cessation of activity, are you referring to sexual activity, behavioral change, or perhaps partnership duration?

Thanks! Just want to make sure it is reflecting what you are looking for.
