changed some absolute linked path to relative paths so linked sections don't open new pages
changed quoted sections on exclusive usage extensions to tip note sections because it showed up differently on github than pycharm - they looked grey out and not the intended effect
updated split to 0s.path.splitext in example extension

Not certain if the relative paths I added all work...I don't know if there's a way to preview the links on my fork.
