[Feature Request]: Lab notebooks #131

Details

Jon mentioned that the reproducibility page would benefit from featuring lab notebooks in some way.

This makes sense, currently it just features github repositories which isn't inclusive of members that are more lab based.

The problem however is that upon looking at lab archives I found that our license doesn't allow public sharing of information:

Hopefully we can find a way around this. I just don't have enough information about this side of people's work just yet.

There is also the possibility to start showing off GEO accession numbers here as well perhaps. I'll need more input on this however as I don't want to waste time on this if it isn't wanted (I'm not even sure how you might want this to look).

LabArchives doesn't have an easy way of sharing any lab protocols we have. However, it can sync with protocols.io. We can share lab protocols therefore by using protocols.io as a proxy. It would be a good starting point to add the FANS protocol to the site.
