Merge akdesign for newchar.new testing #83

Finished applying styling for newchar.new. We had talked about the IDs on the old tables, and whether they were being used in the page's javascript. We should first test the new creation pages to be sure losing these IDs didn't break functionality.

Also this could be a good pull to test out a 'hotfix' branch.
