Cannot remove enchantments, slider doesn't move #130

When trying to remove enchantments on something the slider does not move, and the enchantment cannot be removed.

yes I can't. Clearly, DarkHax isn't meaning for this to be a feature BECAUSE I can use the slider perfectly on a modded item.

This issue is missing important information such as the version of the game, forge, the mod, and the names of items and enchantments.

Yikes sorry. I'm using 1.12.2, lastest forge version (not the recommended, the latest), and any vanilla item and any enchantment. I tried with a lucky bow from lucky blocks mod and it let me take back any enchantments on it.

It does work like you said, but under one condition, the weapon has to be damage free. But even after that it still doesn't give the xp back

I will confirm that this is an issue not only for REMOVING enchants but if you are APPLYING enchants and attempt to lower the level, IF the item is damaged it will not allow you to lower the enchantment level back down if you are only APPLYING.

Has anyone been able to isolate what is causing this? I'm seeing it on my end too, though it's happening inconsistently. 1.12.2 with forge-14.23.5.2854
