Still an issue with animations off in surge config.

It's December and I know this is kinda necroposting, but I have this issue too.

Turn off Fatal Model Loading in the config. If it doesn't help, try disabling other stuff. I only have cloud stuff enabled as I don't need other stuff and it works fine with FoamFix and BetterFPS, while originally I had the same problem.

The feature that caused this issue has been merged into Forge. You can disable the fatal model loading feature in the config file in 1.10.2 if you have this issue. Future versions of the mod will not have this feature and are unaffected.
