Add Socio-Economic Profiles to Profiles By LHIN Menu #22

Closed ebourdon closed 10 years ago

Please find the data to be used to create the Socio-economic profiles in the following DropBox folder:

Dropbox\Database\GeoDatabase\Ava\To Do

Tab "Sur le site" shows what the popup should look like and what information it contains.

Let me know when you want to discuss and I can explain in more details.

The same file should be used for the language breakdown by LHIN.

I will create another Issue for that.

Hello Ava,

Good work but we need to make some adjustments.

The information in the popup is perfect except for some translation issues. In the French section, the words "Socio-Economic Profiles" appear in the menu and at the top of the popup window.

The legend, however, does not belong there. The legend shown should be no different than the legend one sees when one clicks the "Professionels de la santé par RLISS" box.

Basically, the legend shown should appear in the Population francophone menu. Please see my comments on Issue #27 about that.

Now we have 2 popups:

1) One for "Socio-Economic Profile" map which is a default layer to "first official language spoken". (The map we created Percentage legends for.)

2) one for "Socio-Economic Profiles" Map in Second accordion.

each of them has different popup contents as it described in " Dropbox\Database\GeoDatabase\Ava\To Do" word DOC.

Also Legend for "Socio-Economic Profiles" in second accordion is the same as "Professionels de la santé par RLISS".

Hello Ava,

I am not sure what you mean in item 1), but when I look at the French population accordion menu it looks right (minus the missing Legend which, I understand, you will add).

Item 2) looks good

I would make one change. I would expect both legends "Professionels de la santé par RLISS" and "Socio-Economic Profiles" (which must be written in French) to use the same colour.

Could you please make it so both legends are the same including the same colours?

Actually, Ava, could you make sure all Health Region (LHIN) legends have the same colours.

Basically, the LHIN level map in the French population accordion menu for variables "Langue maternelle", "Connaissance des langues officielles" and "Langue parlée le plus souvent à la maison" should all be identical. The legends for "Professionels de la santé par RLISS" and "Socio-Economic Profiles" should also be the same.

For all these variables, the colour in the legend only identifies the LHIN name, for instance red means the Central LHIN. Only the legend for variable "Première langue officielle parlée" should be different since the colours represent the proportion of French in the LHIN (<1%, etc.).

The choropleth map for First Official Language Spoken is there but the legend is still missing. Also, LHIN colours in French Speaking Population do not match the colours in Profiles By LHIN.

This issue is fixed.
