Ooh. I didn't see this.
I do want to preface that silicons are able to self heal. Someone mentioned it to me that the Will to Survive perk was possibly intended to be a sort of contender for silicons as they are able to self repair without any additional help. Including internal damage from what I was told.
This should be kept in mind, I feel, for the future in regards to this.
I will add a additional that many races have very strong passives. Chit'mains ignore pain entirely, Akula can't be embedded and can get massive stat boosts with a perk, Naramads can drink water for infinite tricord. I do not think that humans are overtuned in this regard and if anything it will put them under par to many other races that already exist. I am very much not a fan of this change. As i think it'll just make humans and any custom subspecies that use human as a base less appealing to play entirely.
Mycus also exist! 60u of tier 3 chems from feeding their shroomling companions (that can tank and attack), they feel no pain, have nightvision, and are also incredibly naturally strong / robust.
PR scope changed. Now it's only removing problematic language.
Leaving this here for future discussion: rationale on the changes to the human perk was due to the fact it's effectively a 'free heals' button every ten minutes seemingly. The thought is that it should be more of a 'get out of dodge' button than a 'get out of medbay free' button. Powerful enough to keep you kicking long enough to disengage and crawl to medical, not powerful enough that you just. Leave the medical people bored stiff. Further discussion will be in discord.
