In my limited testing, and I've only seen this with the simulator, after starting the tracking of monitors and quickly ending it, I've seen messages arrive in the middle of outputting the results. At one point the timing was messed up enough that it caused the file to be invalided as it appears the timestamps went backwards.
This might only be an issue with simulations but I doubt it.
