The current estimate is that 3B-MAW will be appended onto the existing NOX Binning PGs.
3B-MAW data will be displayed distinctly apart from ‘Real’ data in bins 1-17, when supported.
Additional failure criteria will identify omitted data from applicable engines.
Scaling for locomotive engines will need to consider rated power up to ~8,000 bHP
Or even as much as 18,000 HP / ~14MW.
Existing Scaling for On Highway engines may be multiplied by 300 and fine tuned to FAFFFFFh.
Still awaiting draft regulatory text from CARB.
Not needed for ‘27 MY engines. Defer until regulatory time lines are better focused.
