clear playlist while play directory

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. select directory with music
2. long pres on directory and choose Play
3. player starts play, but add whole directory to the end of the playlist

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
it would be more logical if this operation will first clear the list and 
then add whole directory

I agree that this would be convenient, but the reason that the playlist is not 
cleared when a directory is selected is that some users might want to build a 
playlist with multiple directories (e.g., two particular albums from an 
artist).  For now, you can manually clear the playlist from the playlist screen 
(menu->clear playlist).  Sorry, the user interface could definitely be 
improved..
