Fire Pots don't have a check to prevent their damage if the player has fire immunity from Pyromaniac or Hot Bombs, which were effects added in Repentance.
Fire Pots do still have a check for one item that gives a form of fire immunity, which is the Revelations Mod's item "Friendly Fire": https://tboirevelations.wiki.gg/wiki/Friendly_Fire
