Can this example work on cloud? #2

Hi CMIP6 Hackers!

We are beginning to think about how to collect and share all of the amazing work that happened at the CMIP6 hackathon. Google will announce the CMIP6 public data program on Dec. 2, and we'd like to have some examples to share with the world by that time. We have identified your project as one of the ones we'd like to include in an examples gallery.

One challenge, however, is that your data is in Glade. Is it feasible to make it work with the cloud-based data?

Cool! To my knowledge, perhaps others can chime in too, it should be straightforward to move these analyses to the cloud.

We used an observational data set from glade,/glade/u/home/jhamman/hap_data.yaml, which would have to be moved to the cloud. I'm not sure the exact file size and cloud compatibility.

FYI I will be on fieldwork from Nov. 17 - mid-January, and thus will have very limited bandwidth to work on this. But if there is something specific that I can do in the next couple of days, I may be able to find the time.

Thanks @EricKeenan! Let's see what @jhamman says about that dataset. If that's the only obstacle, then it could be pretty simple.
