Also, I am keeping a journal of what I work on each day. Is there anything else that I should be doing if I ever wanted to hand in some of it for marking?

Hi Eric: Clearly source where you got your problems, as well as any source that helped you solve the problem. Do your best group your problems in themes. If you solve a problem of one theme, do at least two more so that you own that theme. If you can't solve a problem within a few hours, journalize it, and drop it. You will get credit for unsuccessful efforts. If you successfully solve a problem, and then learn a new technique later and want to solve the same problem with a new technique, do so. I am not going to take responsibility for ruining your summer. G
