We'll get around to it, but its not a high priority at this time.

In my opinion, It'd be a high priority. And the support for the dvd could be a
fantastic add for the emulator.

Even cooler than support for DVD would be if you could rig it so that the Wii
can
read Playstation discs and load the images straight from the disk.
It'd be like installing an actual PSX software on the Wii, with full
compatibility.

Ability for the Wii to run CD format is highly limited and strenuous on the
system
itself. The idea of DVD compatibility is probably the wisest decision in this
case as
the games themselves can be converted to DVD format rather easily using free
tools.
Also on the note of DVD compatibility hot-swapping ISO files may also be a good
route
to go and would be even higher priority if full Speed USB Hard Drive
functionality is
to be supported.

would it be possible to use the wii drive to somehow dump Playstation Discs
cause my
entire collection won't dump on my PC too many scratches i think but they work
fine on
my Playstation

It wouldn't be the wisest thing you would do and probably wouldn't work as well
either. As I said before the use of CD media is shotty at best when we can get
it to
work at all, and has the potential of rendering your drive unusable. For
ripping you
PS games I personally would just go get a 20$ buffer or find a local game-crazy
that
would buff them out for little to no cost and use you comp after that.

before i start you guys have done a good job for getting this to work, so lots
of
respect. I don't have a sd card port or a usb post i have a hard mood "qoobsx"
for my
gamecube with out this emulator working via disk i cant do anything. Is it
possible for
the disk part to be made? or is it too hard? I though it would just find the
folder
via the root but it didn't. I think this is a necessary thing for people in my
position.
thanks from chris and good luck with developing this feature : )
