If you are installing Google calendar first then ews you may change the order and check .
Please see here for more details: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1220084#c8
The workaround is listed on the Provider for Google Calendar Page
This is likely due to a bug in the Exchange EWS Provider. For the meanwhile, please temporarily disable that provider, then add your Google Calendar, then you can enable it again. Updated versions of the EWS Provider should have this bug fixed, please consider upgrading.
As of 3.90, this bug isn't fixed, but the workaround does indeed work.
OS: Arch Linux, fully up-to-date Versions: Thunderbird, 45.1.1 Lightning, 4.7.1 Exchange EWS Provider, 3.7.0 Provider for Google Calendar 2.7
Steps to reproduce: Prereqs: Have Exchange EWS Provider and Provider for Google Calendar enabled.
With Exchange EWS Provider, I am able to add my Google Calendars without issue and they are still operative after re-enabling Exchange EWS Provider.
