Trying to "dismiss" the reminders of long-expired events does not work -- they would not go away, until a connection with the Exchange-server is reestablished. For example, as I type this (on January 17th), the window with seven reminders below would not go away -- neither "Dismiss All" nor individual "Dismiss" would work, and closing the entire window results simply in it getting immediately reopened:
The client should be smarter than that and be prepared to operate in disconnected mode:
It should be possible to "dismiss" reminders locally -- until connection to the server is reestablished
The already-ended events should disappear from the list of reminders automatically. Or, if they still appear on the list, the should not cause the list to popup.
This is, likely, related to the problem reported in #559...
