On thunderbird 45.6.0 with EWS 3.9.0 stable, when creating a new event, I get a small window showing the following message:

XML Parsing Error: undefined entity
Location: chrome://calendar/content/calendar-event-dialog.xul
Line Number 1216, Column 23:
                      <checkbox id="notify-attendees-checkbox"

This is also broken in 3.8.0 stable and in 3.9.0-beta2.

Which OS do you use?

Which version of Thunderbird and Lightning do you use?

The OS is Fedora 25 (kernel 4.9.3-200.fc25.x86_64) Thunderbird, as per the original post is 45.6.0 Lightning is 4.7.6

Let me know if you need more information.

As an additional note, the calendar subscription list in the left pane shows none, despite having 4 calendars working... that happened in the past too when things get broken.

Use 3.8.0 not 3.9.0

For me 3.9.0 is broken because it fails with a stacktrace when responding an invitational on Exchange and this is the case on all 3.9.0-beta release

Avoid 3.9.0, must hide many other issues stamped release......

Does not work for me even after downgrading…
