Cannot add Excange Address Book #582

Hi,

I'm using the add-on successfully for the calendar and now wanted to also add the global Exchange address book. However I fail to do so.

Steps

  1. Address Book -> Add Exchange contact folder
  2. Fill all the required fields
  3. Press "Check server and account" (seems to succeed)
  4. Press "Save"

Then the window closes but nothing happens. I don't see the address book in the tree view on the left and don't get any error message. I've tried this with version 3.8.0 and 3.9.0.

Setup Debian stretch Thunderbird 45.8.0-3 Exchange Calendar 3.8.0 and 3.9.0

Seems like there are at least two other related issues which have been closed even though the problem still persists according to the latest comments there: https://github.com/Ericsson/exchangecalendar/issues/168 and https://github.com/Ericsson/exchangecalendar/issues/256

This fork of the add-on is not maintained. Please see Issue #610 for further discussion and a link to a fork which is maintained.
