Thunderbird 52 issues: for loops, force authentication callback #592

This is primarily focused on issue #580

I had problems with my calender (exchange - working before - giving me the 401) and came here. I pulled this branch, made an XPI and it fixed my problem.

Problem signature: Calender does not update, TB error-console (Ctrl-Shift-J) shows something like this:

POST XHR

https://UID:aaaaahhh!mypasswort_in_cleartext?!!@mail.company.com/ews/exchange.asmx [HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized 2ms]

Sorry for the big text. cannot quite figure out what MD I accidentally created to cause this.

When can we expect a release which includes this fix?

Really? It has been 1 month since the issue has been identified. It is reviewed and tested, but still no release???

@rlueckl I'm afraid this repo may no longer be maintained. Here is a currently maintained fork: https://github.com/ExchangeCalendar/exchangecalendar

Thanks for the tip @caomhanach! Their 4.0.0-beta2 works fine.
