Seasonal Events and golden smile? #92

Are you ever going to add seasonal events and themes? It would be a really cool idea, even if it was just a retexture of the game. Another thing I would like to see is an addition of a golden cookie like mechanic. Eventually, it starts becoming a pain to generate higher ammounts of smiles, so a golden cookie mechanic could please alot of your fans.

A golden cookie wouldn't alleviate the difficulty of generating smiles at later stages of the game.

The golden cookie is intended to be implemented as a desktop pony walking around and was mentioned in #32 v1.0 Planning, but it got cut due to time constraints. It may make a return in v1.1 but is not high priority. It turns out that implementing the logic for desktop ponies is annoying in javascript and made worse by the fact that apparently GIFs are actually hard for some computers to render efficiently based on the performance issue reports I've gotten.

I don't think seasonal events are ever going to happen unless someone else wants to implement them.
