For a set of noiseless simulations each corresponding to a point in the (Omegam, S8) space, can you compute the distance (x^TC^-1x) and make a figure showing distances in the space of (Omegam, S8) ?
Since the network was trained on noisy simulations, I am not sure this will work. For the set of noiseless simulations, the output of the network is constant over the parameter range.
