At least that's what it seems to be? translate/rotate seem to be fine.

(Check to see if this happens in other browsers.)

Does not seem to happen in chromium browsers. Could be caused by Firefox's resist fingerprinting setting: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1658282 (although this doesn't explain why zooming in alleviates the issue?)
