The problem is additional modules are not installed. Where to get firmware with 
modules?

Modem is not visible in router control panel. 

USB Network Devices -> 3G/CDMA Modem -> USB device location ID -> View

No modems in the list, only empty page.

Guys, I don't need support. The previous version 1.9.2.7-rtn-r2274 is working 
fine with modem. I tried several newer versions of firmware and modem is not 
working in all of them. I think it is a problem in the core.

You didn't write information above and you even don't want to provide logs. We 
can't help in such case.

P.S. Probably problem is in usb_modeswitch 1.1.7, not in abstract "core".
