NTFS support is slowing down Wifi

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.enable NTFS-Write Support via WebIF

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Wifi should be stable at 300 Mbit/s.
If NTFS-Write Support is enabled, the connection drops to 11 Mbit/s and varies 
heavily. The user only gets 150kb/s download-rates.
If NTFS-Write Support is disabled, the problem doesn't exist.

What version of the product are you using?
RT-N16 rtn-3702

Please provide any additional information below.

First of all, you MUST clarify which transfer speed you means exactly.

In case of it is transfer from/to USB HDD(flash) to/from client, it is expected 
behavior since ntfs-3g used for write access to NTFS volumes and router CPU 
slow.
You can monitor it by "top" command in telnet/ssh session.

Second, nobody can guarantee 300 Mbit/s for any wireless connection. It is 
maximum speed in ideal environment.

I report this for MrMmmkay, because he fears google :)

I guess he means the transmission rate that is shown at the "state of wireless 
connection" via windows. ntfs-3g should not be affected, as he's doing a backup 
to an network-hdd, not to an USB-attached one. 

"300 Mbit/s for any wireless connection." yes - that was exaggerated.

P.S. I use translate.google.com to translate the russian threads to English - 
you can do the same with threads in the german sub-forum ;)

Unfortunately, Google translate didn't get answer. I tried it before my first 
comment. For example, translated text:

I can't understand what kind of speed measured in above sentence, except 
"Windows shows something".

1) Your guess may be wrong
2) There were might be other local processes on router, such as torrents
3) I can't reproduce similar behavior

Thanks, its much clear. But I still can't imagine correlation with Wi-Fi 
Connection Speed & ntfs-3g...

Can MrMmmkay check router CPU load at web-UI "Status & Log" -> "System 
Utilization" ?
Will same behavior observed on previous firmware release r3497 ?

Also, it might be effect of updated Broadcom SDK 5.60 in r3702. Due this 
assumption I asked to check r3497
