Data: Elisa's data #743

Elisa's data consists of Excel files with information about Manuscripts, Sermons and AFs. The manuscripts + sermons can be imported. There is no AF import from Excel files yet.

Manuscript and manifestations import

  1. Are the files in the right format to facilitate import into Passim?
    1. One thing: each manuscript + its sermon manifestations must have exactly one Excel file
  2. The following authors still need to be added:
    1. Maximus Patauinus (Lat. Fol. 480 = “Berlin” )
    2. Seuerian (cod. 541)
    3. Leo Magno (Cod. 545; must be Magnus)
  3. The contents of some Excel cells are incorrect:
    1. See below for the error messages: perhaps Elisa can solve the problems (right brackets and quotation marks and “+” instead of commas)
    2. From Elisa_manu_1638:
      1. Cell W76 is a very strange Gryson/Clavis code…
      2. Cell AA76 will not work. It should be something like: ["PASSIM 051.1073"]
      3. Column Z is empty and must be deleted (no column name)
    3. From Elisa_manu_541:
      1. Cell Z86 – same problem as AA76 above
  4. Literature references
    1. Elisa_man_545, cell Y8 will not work
      1. see e.g. Iris [passim_manuscript_1909_MC12] for correct processing; it is more convenient to add this by hand.

Post-import checks

  1. Links to SSG - okay
  2. Other links: okay
  3. FEAST is missing - because that is entered as a list instead of as a value - updated custom_add() for SermonDescr to accept that type of date. Checked. Works

23/apr/2024: Apparently there is more data.
