Notes for clarity that may help new users:

Define gicleur as a jet
link profiling guide in the needle valve section, mention that it fits where a gicleur normally does in e61 but can be added to virtually any machine.
it may be worth pointing out that the pressure drop is obvious in the puck since the liquid is clearly not exiting the bottom under considerable pressure. this may help clear up the confusion that many people have about pressure in the puck.

General question, what level of depth and technical correctness are we looking for in this doc?

I think ideally it is technically correct and reasonably comprehensive. However we probably need to make some concessions (such as a paragraph at the start of each section) that lays out the most important concept in an easy to grok way.
