The user may be sitting in a vehicle and collecting the locations of damaged buildings - and therefore will need to apply an offset. Additionally, there may be a requirement to improve the location of a feature if the GPS accuracy is poor.
We would like to be able to have the ability within Quickcapture to confirm or move our Map location as
- we maybe capturing data from the end of a street about a number of points of interest or
- we are in the middle of the road capturing data on buildings on both sides of the road. I guess in essence we could be capturing data for multiple points of interest form one GPS point and we would like to be able to move the point on a map similar to how can within Survey123 to provide more accurate data to our Dashboards.
Our collection process would look like;
- Confirm our location on the map. Move the pin to appropriate position if required
- Capture data for that point of interest.
- Repeat the process if capturing more data at that location or
- Move on to a new location and repeat.
Enhancement request to be able to manually adjust the captured location before submission. This may be for the purpose of improving the location (by referencing the base map) or applying an offset. This is equivalent to the Survey123 map pin, where you can pan the map to fine tune the location.
