Do not use app icon with transparent background #14

Please use the iOS app icon in the box folder instead of the transparent one. This icon will look good on both Android and iOS devices.

@sathyaprasad It would be good if our designers could take both scenarios into consideration in the design since we can't currently specify different icons based on platform. I was given both Android and iOS icons and we have the option to use a color behind the transparent on iOS.

Initially I had only used the iOS icon for both.

That's right. The iOS (square icon with no transparency) icon provided by the designers will not need background color to be specified and matches other labs app icons. Just ignore the android specific icon in case of AppStudio apps.

I see the square icon now. For people who have tested with builds earlier that 1.0.123, if you already have the app on your device, you will need to manually uninstall it. The app bundle id has changed as per #28 so new builds will appear the device as a new app, and not update the existing one, but install as a separate app. If you still see a hexagon icon - it might be that you have an old version of the app.
