Very slow location 'fix' when come from another app, results in no feedback from app for long time #35

Test devices that did this:

When I launch Trek2There from another app (in this case Survey123) on these devices i don't see the distance or arrow start to move for minutes. Tapping the settings button and then the back button straight away without changing the coordinates, APPEARS to speed up seeing the distance... but it just might be the time that has lapse is the same as if i had waited.

I noticed this too. In case it helps diagnosing, if after launching the Trek2There app from other app, you switch to settings and then you go back, the app turns responsive right away.

This is partially a bug as well. I noticed on testing today if T2T was not running in the background already (was launching fresh) then navigation isn't started. I know this because the 'End' button isn't visible. However, if T2T is running in the background already and you come from another app then navigation starts. However the arrow may not start moving immediately either. So there are a few issues to resolve with this.

marking this issue as resolved, likely as a consequence of other changes (not specific changes made for this)

Note that the cedar tree device described above is a 4.2.2 device (not 4.4.2 as listed) and is no longer supported. the minimum android version is now 4.4.
