I tried using this web app on my iphone (i'm connected to the internal wi-fi) and:
Made changes. Tested on device. https://youtu.be/J9x0T7qsrlM
NB: Storage of this file in the repo does make it look like its part of the qml app, but i tried changing the folder / file name but the webpage no longer worked. As per https://help.github.com/articles/configuring-a-publishing-source-for-github-pages/ the file needs to be in master, master/docs, or gh-pages branch.
Leaving it in the /docs folder.
NB: the url is now https://esri.github.io/Trek2There/Trek2ThereWebLauncher.html have added it to readme.
I created a simple app to easily create Trek2There custom URL Schemes from a web browser. Something like this would be useful for people to quickly get started with the app.

Scott: May be something like this would be useful for the blog post: 1- Install the app 2- Open this URL, point to your destination and launch Trek2There by simply clicking on the map
I can add very quickly some basic functionality to search for an address
