Load osm file not working 10.6 #196

I am trying to load OSM files into arc map. "download ,extract and symbolize data" doesnot allows me to download the data because of the 50,000 nodes restriction. i tried to download data using "download OSM data (XAPI) and load osm file. download OSM data(XAPI) is working but the load OSM file is not working and i get error. My main target is to create a network dataset therefore i want to download OSM data from the toolbox so that i can create a network dataset.

any help would be highly appreciated.

I am getting this error. I am trying to download OSM data of Castellon situated in Spain. Its a small city and i am trying to download the data for my thesis. I cannot use normal way because of more than 50,000 nodes . My plan is to download the data and carry out network analysis of the route network

exception from hresult: 0x80040301 at esri.arcgis.geoprocessing.gputilitiesclass.igputilities 3 opendataset fromlocation(string catalogpath) at esri.arcgis.osm.geoprocessing.osmgpfileloader.execute(iarray paramvalues, itrackcancel trackcancel, igpenvironmentmanager envmgr, igpmessages message) failed to execute (load osm file).

Can you help me out? thanks

I'm having the same problem. Did you work this out?

The gp tools that are downloading data directly are bound to the limits provided by the server. The tools won't be able to change that. For larger extent I usually recommend to download an extract file from https://download.geofabrik.de/
