Edit Widget Feature List Ordering #205

Is there a way to control how the features display in an edit feature list? As you can see on the attached image, the order of these features is random - e.g. doesn't seem to be based on how layed out in ArcMap (for service), or underlying domain table. Config.xml doesn't seem to address this either. editwidgetfeaturelist

Hi bmandel, for support questions about the viewer, the Viewer Forum at http://forums.arcgis.com/forums/111-ArcGIS-Viewer-for-Flex is usually a better place to get answers from a wider community, and/or the Esri Support (http://support.esri.com/). The GitHub "Issues" are primarily intended for bug reports or enhancement requests.

As for your question, I think the order you see should be the same as the order you see in the REST metadata for the layer. Compare for example with http://sampleserver6.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/Military/FeatureServer/2 where the Edit Widget will display the icons in the same order as the templates listed under the Types: Name: Mechanized Brigade # 1 Name: Mechanized Brigade # 2 Name: Mechanized Infantry Company Name: Field Artillery Combat Brigade ...

If you still have questions, I'd recommend creating a new Forum post at http://forums.arcgis.com/forums/111-ArcGIS-Viewer-for-Flex with that image, as well as a copy of your REST metadata for that service.
