Is it possible to change the symbol for a single feature in ArcObjects?

Yes,

But sort of like in ArcMap, you would need to change the definition query. Is the symbol available from your layer or do you need to get it from a style file? Or you could make a separate layer with the only feature you need and set the symbol for the layer there.

thanks for answer, but i could not make a separate layer with the only feature. i set arrow symbol to pipe layer by ArcObject and went to disable symbol for some pipe in this layer
