Beginner Documentation

Is it possible to get an updated documentation for beginners? I downloaded the boostrap-map-js code, and added it to my web server folder. I'm following the steps mentioned here:http://esri.github.io/bootstrap-map-js/demo/jquery/getstarted.html, and nothing is displaying when I open up my index.html file in my browswer. Are there steps missing that I need to know about?

Are you running the index.html from localhost or by double-clicking on it? You need to access the file from http://localhost...
