deprecated? #232

I see that calcite-maps was marked as deprecated last month (Aug 2020). Is there a reason for the deprecation? Or maybe something that will be replacing it? I find the platform useful for fast and appealing web app development. Thank you.

For what it's worth, I've created a web map app that is inspired by Calcite Maps, but uses Bootstrap 4.x. Feel free to visit the repo for ideas/inspiration/criticism.
